While planning out all the details for Hanna and Thomas’s day-before session, I mentioned how cool it would be if we could find an Airstream to shoot with. I was SO stoked when Hanna found one! AND, when her friend offered for us to shoot on their beautiful property. All this along with me bringing half my house to decorate with, we had the perfect shoot.
I feel extremely blessed that I got to know Hanna + Thomas and their love story. It has been a true honor to be the one to document and witness the authentic love these two share. On the day before their wedding, Hanna shared an image from this shoot with a little backstory. With her permission I’ve shared below her words from a post she made the day before their wedding:
“I met Thomas when I was 14 at The Torch in Demorest, GA. He was sooooo cute, so of course we dated, but then I moved away. We tried distance for a few months, but how do you do distance when you’re that young? So we broke up, didn’t talk for a few years, then college came around and we became best friends again. We’d talk on the phone multiple times a week, we helped each other through hard times, breakups, good times, and everything in between. He was someone I could count on, even though he lived far away from me and we never saw each other. Then a year went by and we only talked once or twice, until last March. He was on his way home from church and he called me out of the blue, told me he missed me, and wanted to come see me. Now here we are almost a year from the phone call that changed my life.”
I hope you enjoy scanning through these images as much as I do! There’s the classic ‘the bachelor’ hug in the mix, so be on the lookout for that. I also can’t wait to finish editing their wedding gallery! What a gorgeous two days I had with these two!
Cheers to Hanna + Thomas!
And here’s to love + loving well,
