: Elopement

There truly is something beautiful about two souls professing their love and commitment to each other with only God and nature as their witnesses. So serene, and so intimate. This particular place was very special to Jordan and Michael, and it was a frequent camping spot for them and their friends. It was a downhill 30 minute hike one way, (a little more strenuous on the way back), and I was seriously blown away when we got to the bottom of the trail. The rock face along the river here is hundreds of feet high. It honestly took my breath away.

A couple of days later, they said their vows in front of family and friends at Lake Arrowhead in Waleska, GA so everyone could share and celebrate together. It was another beautiful day for this sweet couple. (Stay tuned for that to come up next on the blog!)

I have to say that elopements are pretty incredible, and I was super excited and humbled to have been asked to accompany these two genuine human’s on such a special day. I’d be 100% okay to take on more elopements in 2018!
